The "Pursuing A Dream Foundation" was born in August of 2002 by Dave Owen and his wife Jane. A Few Known Facts:
There are nearly 55 million disabled people in the United States. Unfortunately, their opportunities to take part in outdoor activities are often limited and sometimes non-existent. Thousands have already experienced the thrill of fishing, hunting, recreational shooting and other outdoor activities during national, state and local events.
Pursuing A Dream events are designed to overcome barriers that prevent or limit the disabled from enjoying outdoor activities. Each event promoted education, healthy living, sportsmanship, self-esteem, recreation and awareness.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone for making our events a huge success. We are looking forward to another great shootout this year. We hope to see you there!
